Message problem: wastegate actuator balance.

If one turbo is outspooling the other, it will inevitably take more of a beating than the other turbo, efficiency will be low and power will be down as well.

The balance tube will help to balance the flow of air into each side of the engine so as not to make as much of an impact on A/F balance between the sides, but putting a large additional balance tube into the setup will do you more injustice. The reason being: if the system requires a balance tube to bring the A/F between the sides closer to each other, this is indicating to you that you need to adjust one of the wastegate actators, NOT install a bigger balance tube. The balance tube will mask the effect that you want to be aware of, and the net result will inevitably be lower power output as one of the turbos are whaling out at the choke limit - meanwhile beating its bearing assemblies to a pulp.

My dyno dissertation clearly defines this issue, how to identify it, how to correct it. The dyno dissertation is available, at no charge, free for the taking =)
